Internet Explorer update due soon

After all the fuss about Google and Internet explorer, it seems Microsoft will be offering a patch for their browser very soon. I have read that the fix will be coming this weekend, so please make sure that when prompted that you allow the update to proceed. Until then, use another browser!

    Great news - thanks for posting this update Bob! I a Google Chrome fan for everyday use, but there are certain website that just do not work on that browser (both my UK and French banks' websites) and so I like to have IE as a back up!

    Even after the update has come out I'd advise people not to use it. I'm forever hearing of people with computer troubles that have stemmed from them using Internet Explorer. It's awful.

    Thanks for the comments guys. Thomas - I take it Firefox or Opera doesn't work with your banking sites? Charles - yeah, shame IE comes with such problems, Microsoft is a good target for virus writers so IE has been fully exploited. Having such large security holes doesn't help Bob
