The history of Microsoft Windows

I was a Windows user, I stopped with Windows 2000. I started with Windows 3.1 on my own computer though in my earlier career I had used Windows right from the first version. During my wanderings around the Internet I came across this site, hongkiat.com, that shows the different versions of Windows, starting from 1985 through to 2009 (Evolution of Microsoft Windows: 1985 – 2009).

However, I am now a Linux user and I have not looked back since.

This week is the last week to claim one of the ten Ubuntu 9.04 CD's that I am giving away. Drop me a line via Twitter, use this sites contact page or leave a comment below.
