I am glad to say that the reader who had the problems with his Apple Mac connecting to his Neuf box on WiFi has now sorted out his problems. However it seems I was wrong and it was not the WEP security key that was the problem.
The problem was cured by switching off the Neuf ADSL box, the connected phone, the computer and then switching back on in order as per instructions. And yes the whole thing worked as it should. Exactly why doing this has made it work is still a mystery but then, how often does rebooting/switch off – on again cure a problem?
