Normally I focus on writing about using your computer in France and about creating a successful wesite for your gite and rental property, However I do like to talk a little about the things for those who blog for other reasons, such as for profit or to promote a business. With that in mind I want to mention an eBook that every blogger should read.

ChrisG is a blogger who I have recently rediscovered and have now become a regular reader of. He has created an eBook about creating 'killer flagship content'. It is only 14 pages (PDF file) but if you read it you will find it a very good read.

Chris's idea is that you create a piece of content that forms the back bone of your blog. Something visitors can refer to time and time again and something you refer to in your writing. It is on reflection a simple idea but like all good ideas, it needs some one to point it out and lead the way. It should inspire you to rethink your own blog and make you think how his ideas can make improvements to your own site.

Chris's well written eBook explains the idea behind 'flagship content' and will help you think about the steps you need to take.

The twist that Chris has added, is that it is only available if you sign up for his RSS feed. A brilliant idea if you want to boost the amount of subscribers to your feed. Another idea I am considering!
